Nel 1983 Giuseppe ed alcuni amici aprirono un locale in pieno centro storico basato sull'idea di una cucina non tradizionale: un piatto unico consistente in gustose insalate per tutte quelle persone che dovevano pranzare velocemente.

Dopo oltre venti anni questa idea è diventata un'apprezzabile catena di ristoranti. Con il tempo il menù si è notevolmente arricchito offrendo alla clientela una scelta davvero considerevole. Si va dagli antipasti e bruschette varie ai primi con pasta fatta in casa, alle grigliate di carne e pesce alle oltre quaranta varietà di insalate, dalle più semplici alle dietetiche per arrivare a quelle più complesse come la famosa " Imperiale".

Non mancano naturalmente le pizze e i dolci della casa.

In 1983 Giuseppe and some friends opened up an innovative restaurant in the historic center of Rome based on fast salads made to order for people on the run.

Twenty years and many salads later, the restaurant has expanded to a chain of popular lunchtime meeting places for a quick, healthy salad made with the best ingredients available and not only. The menu is rich with pasta dishes, grilled meats and fish, pizza and the finest desserts.

The Insalata Ricca is a household name in Rome, synonymous with fresh healthy food, fast friendly service and Giuseppe constantly looking for new ideas.
